What to Expect

 I believe that you are the expert on your own life.

  Times of stress and struggles tend to leave people feeling very isolated, so it’s so important to know that you are not alone. By exploring your problems and concerns with me in a trustworthy and authentic relationship, you can thrive in your life and relationships.

  Counselling can be uncomfortable and painful at times, and it may be a slow process to get to where you want to be, but I truly believe that taking this journey to becoming your true self is worth it.

My integrative training and experience enable me to use the most suitable approach for you. This involves me listening, asking questions, making connections, offering observations and – sometimes – challenging thoughts or beliefs that may be unhelpful so we can explore alternative ways of thinking.  I tailor my approach to you so we can find the best way to work together.

Culturally I have noted that there is a stigma in societies about asking for help; it is seen as a weakness or a failure to ‘be enough’.

You seeking help is an act of courage.

Courage to value yourself.

Courage to address your concerns and worries and taking an active step towards becoming your authentic self.
